Am I the A-hole for needing my friends to rarely help me with chores?

My roommates and I have been living together for about six months. We've made a decent agreement where we Reddit each take turns doing the cleaning, but lately, it feels like I'm always the one handling the work. Last week, my friend just didn't care to do their turn. I got really frustrated because they just acted like it wasn't a big deal. I told them that it was rude, and they got defensive. Now, they're saying I'm overreacting. Am I really the asshole here?

Should I find new roommates?
